As saxophonist to Guru Josh and a regular fixture on Ibiza's private party scene, there is no doubt this man has 'sax appeal'!
Since 2008, Deva has been touring with the GURU JOSH PROJECT, as the featured saxophonist on the remix of Guru Josh’s famous 1990 hit ‘INFINITY’ – undoubtedly the most famous house sax rift in history! To date, they have played in over 40 countries and the track has enjoyed top 10 chart success and major tv/radio coverage in all European territories.
Born and bred in Argentina, Deva studied music from a very early age. From classical training in piano, flute and singing, Deva moved on to a saxophone degree at the prestigious Conservatorio Nacional Superior de Música, Argentina.
After school he joined some significant Argentinean bands including:
La Nube (contributing to 2 CD releases)
Arsenico (3 CDs & regular radio/tv appearances)
Mr Renfield (2 CDs & tour of Latin America)
In 1996 Deva broke away to pursue his solo career, improvising on sax with major DJs across the world. To date, he has played worldwide at thousands of venues, clubs, festivals, private and corporate events and weddings.
Deva is also a significant player on the Ibiza scene having, for years, had residencies at Starinxa, KM5, Blue Marlin, Bay Bar, Eden, Manumission, Casa Colonial and Sunset Ashram. He has frequently played nights, including opening parties, at:
Space, Amnesia, Es Paradis, Elefant (featured on the Elefant album, 2007), Fasting, Atzaro, Guarana, Pereira, Sa Capella, Savannah Sunset Club and Atzaro.
Elsewhere, Deva can be found making waves across the private party scene or at headline Ibiza events including the 2 Diamond Party 2007 with Deep Olective, Ibiza’s International Film Festival (2007) and the 2006 / 2007 / 2009 DJ Awards (el Hotel, Pacha).
Now based full-time in Ibiza, Deva is working with Guru Josh on his next single/video release ‘ETERNITY’ featuring Kym Lazelle.
The delectable Deva is not only an extremely accomplished saxophonist but, he also comes with a trademark charisma - as if by magic, he skilfully charms everyone up on their feet!
