With a rich, powerful, traditional gospel background sprinkled with the soul of Aretha, Mavis and Mahalia - this Gainesville Georgia native has filled the world plate to overflow from New York to London to Berlin.
Her credits include singing background vocals for the Grammy Award winning tracks 'Face to Face' and 'He Leadeth Me' (1996/1997) by Cissy Houston (mother of Whitney Houston), and the 1995 Grammy Award winning song of the year 'From A Distance' by Bette Midler.
Ingrid has shared the stage with great pioneers; Tramaine Hawkins, Shirley Caesar and Dorothy Norwood whilst hosting Melba’s Open Mic at Sylvia’s, Harlem. Soon after, she was asked to join a tour and within weeks Ingrid was off to Germany.
Her European invasion began with the 'Golden Gospel Group'.

Combining her love for both music and theatre, Ingrid performed 'Little Shop of Horrors' at the Metropol Theatre in Vienna. She collaborated with the 'Dinglish' comedic sensation, Gayle Tufts, and toured with Polydor recording artist, James Last, and his big band orchestra.
And so from the quieter orchestra life to blazing up the stage with one of the hottest European duos; 'The Weather Girls' - world renowned for their hit single 'It’s Raining Men'. They recently released their new album titled 'Totally Wild'.
